I thought I would share a wonderful experience with you all. It is summer in South Africa currently. Generally we would not be buying, or even looking at boots, but because we will be going to New York in January we thought it a good idea to get really warm boots for the cold weather there. Not that I don’t already have boots, but a girl can never have too many I guess.
The boots I chose to buy are handmade leather boots. These are manufactured in Jeffreys Bay in South Africa, and come in a variety of colours and styles. From the pictures below you will see I chose to get a black short pair and a white long pair.
These boots are super comfortable and I will definitely be able to walk long distances in them and stay warm. They are made from genuine leather with sheep skin inners and sides. They are hand stitched. The boot is treated with a leather protector which helps repel water.
The shopping experience was great too. Juanita went the extra mile to ensure that the boots arrived quickly and the white pair were made in record time before Christmas shut down.
